Ronja joined us May 2009 and has, after a somewhat hectic puppy-hood, turned out to be a active, selfconfident and mentally stabil girl ... and her name "happy" is really suitable for her personality!
   She is very lovable towards the family and loves to be pet and cuddle. She can however be a bit reserved with strangers, but if she is allowed to be the one taken the initiativ to contact, she will quickly demands to be pet by all people - and I write demand, the princess do not ask, ask is for the commoner, the nobility demands!
   Ronja did not have the best communication skills when she arrived, but my dogs did quickly taught her that. She can be dominante towards other dogs and are not very social amongst "strangers" - she is however not interrested in fighting, she is just not interested on other dogs other than her "pack".
   As her sire, she is a dog with many "layers". At first, she seems as a very tuff dog, which could give some people the illusion that she required a "tuff upbringing". But it couldn't be more wrong. Behind the strong shell is a very sensible personality that needs a firm, but very gentle and understanding hand.
   Ronja is trained mostly in obedience. In 2011 she was the third best dog of the year (all breed) in obedience class 1 and did also quality for the danish championship with 179 out of 180 points. We could however not participate due to family issues. I have decided to train her only by free-shaping, with suit me and her bubbling creativity very well.

   I do also do some agilty with her and she loooves it. She is comfortable with all obstacles, d... fast (like Border Collies) and has a nice technique. She does however have a bit of "hearing problems", so we does not always agree on the same way around the course - and I am waaaay to slow.

   We do also do a bit herding and tracking. She is a strong dog on stock and I must admite a handfull for me (she tries to take control over the stock and is d... fast). She does however show a nice sence of balance, distance and rate of stock.
